Knowing how to care for a leather sofa is essential to maintaining its beauty, and cleaning is a large part of that. The Chambers leather balsam is suitable for all smooth leather including aniline and untreated leathers. Aniline leather is susceptible to stains and fading, requiring gentle cleaning methods. Although you will be cleaning with a foam, the aniline leather can and probably still will absorb the cleaner - it will just take longer for the cleaner to soak in.
