This outing has the kids trying to find and catch a dragon, in this story it is a dragon that is part of a celebration for "Chinese New Year" The boy and his friends desperately wants to catch a dragon to guarantee health and good fortune for the New Year.

Ultimately, despite the protagonist’s failure to catch the dragon, it is being within the embrace of a loving family (depicted as a mother and a grandmother) that is the luckiest of all. I like the fact that it mixes in different ethnicities in the illustrations, and that it represents a different culture for these fun stories!
