WH-XB900N can also be considered a cheaper alternative for Sony’s flagship ANC headphones WH-1000M3 . WH-1000XM3 headphones may offer better overall performance (better ANC and more balanced sound), but the XB900N headphones offer longer battery life and that was the decisive factor to include them in this list. If you don’t mind shorter playtime and you want the best possible noise canceling and balanced sound, you should go for the WH-1000XM3. What’s in the box? Still, their ANC is effective but not on the level of Sony or Apple, which isn’t what you expect from a brand like Sennheiser.
