This is an invitation to an Open Day to be held by Henshaws Society for Blind People at Tameside Sight, 3–4 Wellington Parade, Dukinfield, SK16 4LE on Wednesday 23rd January 2019 between 11–00am and 1–30pm.
Henshaws, a charity that supports people living with sight loss, would love you to join us at the Open Day. On the day, you can discover how we can support you, or someone you know, living with sight loss, and also find out more about the services we offer. In addition, you can learn about how technology can assist people living with a visual impairment, as there will be some technical demonstrations that can give you an insight into the latest available gadgets.
There will also be light refreshments and entertainment provided.
Please get in touch if you would like to attend or find out more on 0300 222 5555.
You may have read in the local press and heard on Talking News that Tameside Sight is closing down.
This is definitely not the case.
