I wouldn’t stop you if you kissed me right now.” I say it quietly in case he changes his mind, but his eyes darken, his pupils dilating. He doesn’t move, though his mouth parts lile he can already taste it. “Now you.” I loveddddd this book. I loved the quirky "meet-ugly" that brought these two together, and I loved all the bumpy road fun that came thereafter that brought these two dummies closer and closer together. Adalyn is so relatable in her inner need to be perfect, so afraid to disappoint someone because she's tied her worth to how much she can succeed (can you have classic middle child syndrome without being a middle child?) and I loved watching her learn about her own worth through Cameron's eyes, and realizing she was more than just her work all along. I admit that when I first read the blurb I wasn’t sure about this one. The OnlyFans connection was a bit concerning. Is this going to be a good character? But then I decided that I was being judgemental and then I knew I had to read it. OMG! Don’t think about it! Just read it! Cassie soon discovers that Aiden is not a stranger at all - instead he's someone who is very familiar with her - or at least, her body. Given that he doesn't remember her, Cassie is faced with what feels like an impossible situation. As their relationship heats up, Cassie struggles with telling Aiden the truth, and the more terrifying possibility - losing the best chance at happiness she's ever had . . .

Would highly recommend if you are looking for a spicy and sweet read with a single dad and some hot sneaking around 🤭The Nanny is sweet, beautifully sexy, and Aiden is the single Zaddy you want in your life. An amazing debut.”—Elena Armas, New York Times Bestselling Author The Characters—Aiden is so dreamy and I really liked Cassie too! But the side characters flesh out this book so well. Wanda, Aunt Iris, and Sophie help bring this world to life. Elena is just a queen of slow burn and every single wait is always worth it ten-fold. *dreamy sigh* But let’s just pretend sex workers, especially women, don’t routinely get stalked. That’s so not a thing, right? Hi, I would like to start out by saying that I claim Cameron as my own. I am so sorry to all who oppose this, but he is mine now.

From the moment we met R'Jaal on the island and saw him making sad eyes because Marisol didn't resonate to him—I knew I was not going to get any rest until I saw him get happiness. It was a long wait, but boy was it worth it. Rosalind was everything R'Jaal needed, and R'Jaal is the definition of "it's always the quiet ones". (THANK GOD.) There was that staple translation error human between sweet baby R'Jaal and Rosalind (poor babies will just never understand slang) and the romance that blossomed between them was so sweet and scorching hot. Cassie finds a way to crash the walls Sophie built around and they become connected in a short time. She even finds a way to be friendly with judgmental Iris who is the aunt of Sophie, insisting Aiden is not a role model father! This steamy, romantic comedy puts a modern spin on traditional tropes, bringing the falling-for-the-nanny and secret-past storylines into the 21st century…Readers who enjoyed Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone’s A Merry Little Meet Cute will adore this positive, upbeat, sex-filled romp.”— Library Journal The Nanny is a single dad romance but this daddy is a CHEF and an absolute sweetheart with an adorably grumpy encanto-obsessed-pancake-loving-9-year-old who lovingly burns him at every chance she gets (in a literal sense), I guess that's why he comes off so humble—and of course we can't forget the Nanny who is about to change their lives. The book was dual POV, but mainly centered around Cassie’s narrative. When Aiden’s sections begin, the tension is through the roof because they’re so strategically and sparingly placed. I haven’t seen many books with an imbalance like that and god I adore it. Before nearly every chapter, there were sections from their OnlyFans conversations that WORKED SO WELL. I’m normally not a fan of fillers like that but sweet baby Guy Fieri I’ve been taken to FLAVOR TOWN.

Cassie soon discovers that Aiden is not a stranger at all, but instead someone who is very familiar with her—or at least, her body. Given that he doesn’t remember her, Cassie is faced with what feels like an impossible situation. As their relationship heats to temperatures hotter than any kitchen Aiden has ever worked in, Cassie struggles with telling Aiden the truth, and the more terrifying possibility—losing the best chance at happiness she’s ever had.” —NetGalley What I Liked: Like many fictional stories, this one suffers from Cute Kid Syndrome. I often find fictional children unrealistically adorable and well-behaved, not to mention observant and mature. Sophie falls into this category. I would just about die if I ever read a fictional kid telling her dad to shut up or calling him stupid, which is how it really goes in real life. We all know it's true. Great story that had me hooked and left me wanting more. I can already tell that Lana Ferguson is going to be an auto buy author for me, already excited for her next book, The Fake Mate The other thing that kind of frustrated me is I loved the beginning of the book before our main characters got together. The cute little dynamics and the banter. The annoying and adorable Snapple facts remind me too much of myself! And the attraction between the characters was gripping. BUT then when they finally got together, all of that just got lost and we fell into the realm of being told and not shown. Phrases were used to pass time but I WANTED to see what happened! I wanted to, you know, see the characters connecting. Not just be told, "Oh (time passed) they have connected now".This book is now my entire personality. It’s my wish on a shooting star (I JUST WANT A HOT DADDY CHEF OKAY??). It’s my white whale. In layman’s terms (a thing a character played by Steve Carell once said): It’s the perfect combination of sexy and cute. Oh, she also used to be an OnlyFans creator who goes by the name Cici, but she quit because [spoiler].
