Right now, the Trinomic reflects that certain zeitgeist from a trend perspective. There have been many great collaborations on the Trinomic silhouette. One of the standouts being the partnership with Brooklyn We Go Hard on the Trinomic R698 for the “Bluefield” project. It firmly connected us with the streetwear and sneaker enthusiasts of today. The Ultra is the latest ‘speed’ boot silhouette from the Puma team and the first true replacement for the popular evoSPEED which was discontinued in 2017. Puma have said that their aim for the Ultra was to create a lightweight model built for speed, whilst avoiding any compromise on other valuable aspects such as feel, comfort and durability.

The structure of the silhouette
is key. The clear rubber hexagon
cells that make up the technology have three important purposes: they aid performance with enhanced cushioning, offer greater flexibility and enhance stability. The iconic Trinomic Triangle Logo is a subtle reference to these three features.The KITH "Tokyo Sakura Project" contains an all original apparel line by KITH, a capsule collection with John Elliott + Co, and Ronnie Fieg's latest work with Puma.

Puma are obsessed with speed, we’re guessing that’s why Usain Bolt was so keen to join them. This obsession bleeds into the Ultra. The shape is as aerodynamic as they come, a sleek, modern silhouette which comfortably hugs the player’s foot. The major technology advancement comes in the form of a MATRYXEVO woven upper, a tough but light mix of aramid and carbon fibres lending breathability with protection and feel.
