But that doesn’t mean I don’t love the characters, no, I definitely cried MORE — if that’s even possible — than I did the first time I read it. I related sm to parts of the book and my heart hurt for what the characters were feeling including side characters. I skipped the last three books, and I'm not sorry about it. But even the books that came before, with the exception of Maximoff and Farrow's books, have just been ok. Nothing spectacular. even after all this shit the authors put my babies through, i’m still obsessed with lunnelly. paul is accepting all of the “weird” sides of luna and love them altogether is soo hot and precious. even tho the sex scene was weird i still see it like donnelly just loves all parts of luna💗

ALPHAS LIKE US was more than I could have ever hoped for. The bond that Maximoff and Farrow have is one of a kind and I adored and devoured everything about them from beginning to end. Damaged Like Us is a book I would recommend to all fans of the Addicted series, m/m lovers, and lovers of romance alike. It was a great start to this next generation series and I can’t wait to read more!!!

Their struggles made their connection stronger. ive just always adored the shit out of her, so im super biased. you see a lot of her struggles in this book— she really doesn’t see herself as worthy of being a Hale, being Lo and Lily’s daugh I just realized I just went through all the Hale children (which makes sense since this is Moffy’s book). For the other children, I love seeing Tom in the Rainbow Brigade scene. He is such a rebel and troublemaker – “shit-stirrer” as Rose says Including but not limited to: hateful people, rabid fans, nosy paparazzi, and other so-called media.

But for the first time in this confident filmmaker's life, he's absolutely 100%... confused. Add another ultra-complication in a sea of complicated: Enter Charlie Cobalt. I gotta admit I was not really enjoying it. This has not happened to me for any of the Addicted books before, so that’s unsettling. I just felt so annoyed for whatever reason. I know it’s in Moffy’s character to push himself for his loved ones, but dang, that boy needs to stop stressing so much because it stresses me out. There are also some choices made in this book where I’m like, really??? I mean I know they’re characters who are learning and growing. I admit it, I was just impatient, and even though I felt bad for the characters, there were not enough emotional, soul-consuming scenes, or enough sweet, cute moments (which every other Addicted book had.) And he only lives three floors below her. Too bad he’s incredibly off-limits . Her brother’s bodyguard, eight years older (okay, sometimes, nine ), and the son of meth addicts—the tattooed, shameless bodyguard is the only one her dad really hates. But Luna isn’t sure exactly why. Ages represent the age of the character at the beginning of the book. Some characters will be older when they’re introduced, depending on their birthday. My eyes try to well, and I whisper, “I love you.” I open my stance for Kinney and Luna. “All three of you.” And our sisters join the hug. My arms envelope my younger siblings, and I can feel them cling onto me.

Let me start out, by saying that this book can not be read as a stand alone. It has a continuing storyline, so you should definitely start with book 1. Now if you really want to enjoy this series, you should start with the Addicted / Calloway Sisters series. You don't have to.....but the books are awesome, so why skip (unless you don't read mf, because yes they are m/f, ) ?? Don’t miss out on this captivating tale of passion, danger, and forbidden love. Alphas Like Us is the third book in the Like Us series, and the final Moffy and Farrow book. #Marrow is everything. I love this couple so much! This series is so special to me because it's a spin off series of my all time favorite series, The Addicted series. And Moffy is the son of my #1 favorite couple LILO. Reading these books feels like reuniting with my best friends.Marrow is beautiful. I think I could've read 10 books about them. Even if the story itself is a bit boring, Marrow is worth it. Technically I should lower the stars to three, but I can't make myself do it, so I'll just do it in writing instead.
