Soap! Smells very nice. I like it. I've always liked it. I've had it for...at least a year now, if not two years. It's not something I reach for often necessarily but it's very clean. It's 200% unisex.

I'll have to try this one again in the summer. Maybe the soapy smell will come out more in the heat? I hope. I dislike these fragrances and finally realized that what I hate about them is the powdery note/dry-down. Inoffensive, clean, perfect for formal occasions. I like to use it when I'm sad to give me a sense of wellness. Still enjoy the bottle design and believe this is a safe blind buy. Quite a skin scent. Ignore the above votes that say this reminds them of Jennifer Aniston's debut perfume. It smells NOTHING like it. Absolutely nothing. The scent by "Clean," I've never smelled but I would bet money that it smells identical to that one. But not Jennifer Aniston. Additionally, I was pregnant with my bubba (He's absolutely beautiful, thanks for asking!) last year/early this year, and the degree of powder in this scent made it intolerable to me while I was up the duff (I bought this perfume not long prior to getting pregnified). Unfortunately, I *know* this made me hesitant about cultivating a love for this fragrance. That old perfume-nausea association. In saying that, wearing this helps me fool myself into thinking I am a well-rounded, cultured, kind, approachable woman who always wears white cotton or linen and maintains a spotless home (Ahahahahaha - dreams!). It's not a bad fragrance, but it's definitely not something I would buy. First of all, the fragrance itself is just... meh. Nice, but too basic… Don't get me wrong: it's delicate, fresh and clean, floral, slightly sweet and soapy. However, it's nothing memorable. I would love a body cream, deodorant or body wash with this fragrance, but not a perfume. Rather than an EDT it seems almost a cologne because of the low longevity. It's a good scent, but I almost feel like it has no personality. There are also some pros: I really like the minimal aesthetic of the bottle. I think it can be a good perfume to give to young people who want to approach the world of perfumes, quite blind buy safe in this case. Speaking of price, it's not bad, maybe slightly overpriced. By using a body lotion as a base, the fragrance stayed on my skin longer." Despite it being described as a soft floral, Amazing Grace opens sharp and lingers for far longer than I care for. Those who've described it as peppery are spot-on. Its dupe by PB Premier is less peppery, so it may be a better option for those who like the fragrance. They have a clean, soapy smell, so they are perfect for spraying right after showering and moisturizing your skin. But when i pulled on a pad, a whole tread of roots and more pads came along, including a precious flower.

For those reasons...it has it's place in my collection. Will usually wear it when I'm running to Laundromat & grocery store on a Sunday or something like that. I used to make fun of this for being a boring church girl perfume, but then I smelled it. It's great! I think jasmine is one of my power notes and this is a nice, dry, clean jasmine/rose with a really beautiful musk base. I also have some of the lotion, which seems to leave a lingering scent for even longer. It's really nice layered with almost anything (I recommend layering with an ambroxan scent like Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume!) and it's a good squeaky clean scent on its own. There is something about it that feels timeless without coming off as old fashioned. I can understand why it's so popular. We were cruising on a pedalo by the shore, when my dad decided we'd take a little break on the water, under the shade of a weeping willow (my favorite tree!). We were looking at the frogs and toads, then papa said that I could bend over the boat and grab a lilypad, that he'd hold my feet so I wouldn't trip overboard. So if you like any of the above (except Simply Belle), you'll like (and probably love) Amazing Grace.
