Description

The reason is that FRFR 108 is created for use with electric guitar modelers. It would be great if you play in a small practice space or at a lower volume. Headrush FrFr 108 is a Specially-voiced 8-inch woofer, while the headrushFrFr 112 is a Specially-voiced 12-inch woofer. The FRFR 108 can travel with you because it is lighter and smaller than other models. In contrast, FRFR 112 is frequently chosen for long-term use in big spaces.

Headrush 108 vs 112 both performed very well when delivering bass guitar through. However, FRFR 112 seems to be much more prominent. The FRFR 108 is an electrical cabinet, so you can only use it with line level signal inputs. By contrast, FRFR 112 is designed for digital amp model sets. We built the HeadRush FRFR-108 just for you, the discerning guitarist/bassist - if you’re looking to elevate the performance of your HeadRush Pedalboard, Gigboard or any other FX/Amp modeller, your search is over. You’ve found the HeadRush FRFR-108!Additionally, it is useful for those who need a small, tough gadget for clubs and small performance spaces. Effortless Connectivity: Whatever the situation demands, the HeadRush FRFR-108 includes hassle-free connectivity options for sheer versatility on stage or in rehearsal scenarios alike. With 2 XLR/TRS 1⁄4-inch combo inputs, each with their own independent volume control and clip indicator, amplifying and mixing two separate signal sources couldn’t be any simpler – plus with a thoughtful Ground-Lift switch, eliminate unwanted noise at venues with grounding issues and ensure you sound at your best every time. The FRFR-108 is a 2000-watt full-range, flat-response powered cabinet that perfectly complements the HeadRush Pedalboard or any other multi-FX/amp modeller. It features an 8-inch/2-way speaker, dual XLR/ TRS 1⁄4” combo inputs with independent volume, contour EQ and a lightweight pole-mountable cabinet. The HeadRush FRFR-112 just like the FRFR-108 is a lightweight 2000-watt full-range, flat-response powered cabinet that perfectly complements your HeadRush Pedalboard, Gigboard, or any other multi-FX/amp modeller. The FRFR-108 follows in the footsteps of it's bigger brother, the Headrush FRFR-112. Perfect for a more authentic front-of-house sound with bigger drivers and woofers and to give you more power!

Controls (power switch; 2 x volume control knobs; EQ contour switch; ground-lift switch) (power switch; 2 x volume control knobs; EQ contour switch; ground-lift switch) Get The Most From Your Multi-FX / Amp Modeller: The HeadRush Pedalboard and Gigboard have stormed the market with their ground-breaking innovation in FX and Amp modelling. Now that you’ve elevated your rig to the new innovative standards of today’s modellers, don’t rely on the limited frequency response of a traditional amplifier or PA speakers. You need the FRFR-108. Just like the FRFR-108, it will give you a realistic room-filling sound with the authentic feel of a speaker pushing air. It was built for the discerning guitarist/bassist. Key FeaturesIf the box is on the floor, it might bring some unwanted resonance. If we put a stand under it, then there will be no problem with it. Headrush FRFR 112 is also a 2000-watt guitar and bass amplifier. It also has two XLR inputs in which you can plug in two instruments at once, and you can control their voices individually with the individual volume controllers. It might lose a bit of clarity at very high volumes, but then again, it is made for rooms and small venues, not big crowds. If your amplifier has output lines or emitted effects, you can use that, but don't use a powered head speaker with it because it can damage both. Wrapping Up There is no ultimate champion this time, but you should choose your favorite based on your interest and purposes.

I have a HR108 but switched to using my PC+112 and do not have the EQ savvy to figure it out enough to give advice as to whether it can help HX/HR users. As far as the difference between the Alto and the HR, there is a Youtube video where someone compares the two. In all honesty I could not hear a major difference between the two (if at all). Might be my ears though ..... In contrast to the HeadRush FRFR 108, the HeadRush FRFR 112 is appropriate for guitarists and bassists who want to improve their performances and maximize the sound they receive from the HeadRush Pedalboard or even other FX/amp modellers. FrFr 108 Pros and Cons Pros Surgically Tuned, Masterfully Voiced: Hear your rigs as they were always meant to be heard! The Headrush FRFR-108 Speaker Cab delivers 2000 watts of peak power that delivers clarity, punch and ample headroom for any venue. With the convenient XLR Link output, FRFR-108 seamlessly sends your mix to Front-of-House equipment, or links to more FRFR-108 cabinets where additional stage-based amplification is required.Headrush’s FRFR 108 is a 2000-watt, low-weight, compact, and portable guitar/bass amplifier. It has 2 XLR inputs so that you can easily plug in two instruments at once and set their volume individually with the help of individual volume controllers.
